Learn why treating nightmares is imperative!
THIS COURSE IS NOW ON SALE FOR ONLY $147
This course covers the main things clinicians need to know to ensure nightmare treatment is both effective and safe. Treating nightmares can be simple and quick, and is far preferable to avoiding them! If you do no other kind of dreamwork in your practice, you still need to know how to work with nightmares -- and after taking this course you will understand both how and why!
After completing this course you will:
- Understand the difference between the two main types of nightmares, and how and why to treat them differently.
-Understand the robust link between nightmares and suicide
- Understand the relationship between the content of PTSD nightmares and clinical progress
- Know how to employ basic trauma treatment skills to keep nightmare sufferers in the ‘window of tolerance’ as they process their nightmares.
- Through instruction and demonstration, you will learn quick and simple ways to process nightmare material safely and effectively. Included is a detailed, trauma-informed nightmare treatment protocol.
- Receive updates as new nightmare information is published.
All of above information is based on current research, as well as on my own doctoral research and depth of understanding I acquired in developing and testing a focusing-oriented treatment of recurrent nightmares for refugees suffering from severe PTSD symptoms. Some of what you will learn is based on brand new information, not yet published as I continue to converse with nightmare experts worldwide.
